Thanks John for your thoughts about worship. It is true about worship – so many times we see people just sitting there in a fog during worship watching other people worship – like it’s there for their entertainment. When we praise and worship our Lord it reminds us of just how powerful, mighty, omni-present and loving HE is! It takes us away from us and puts our focus on HIM.
I am touched an provoked in a good way by today’s entitlement. It makes me think about how that does drive many things with in and without my and other motives. Something as simple as my fifth cup of coffee today. The driving force.
This is so exciting! I have always been one who had to have music playing wherever I was. From Floyd Cramer on Piano to ZZ top, Twisted Sister, Garth Brooks and everything in between. But Gospel and Praise has always been my favorite. I know now that I was searching for the “Sound” that would not just move my body, but most of all my spirit. This is definitely an hour when worship in and for war has truly come. Rock On!
